1. Submit Sign-up Form

First, submit your registration form. For each Men’s Basketball game you register for in Cameron Indoor Stadium, you must also register for the same number of Women’s Basketball games.

2. Pay Alumni Band Dues

Next, pay your Alumni Band Dues based on the minimum dues requirements shown below by clicking this link.

Dues are due upon registration and are required to confirm your Alumni Band registration.

3. Wait for Confirmation

Remember that simply registering and submitting your dues payment is NOT a confirmation that you will be able to play in the Alumni Band as seats are allocated for each game by instrumentation on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upon submitting your registration form and your dues payment, we will notify you within 1-2 weeks with an email listing the games you are confirmed to play for. 

If for some reason we are unable to confirm your registration due to a game being sold out or for instrumentation reasons, you will be placed on the Waitlist for those games. If you are placed on the Waitlist for all the games you register for and we don't remove you from the Waitlist, we'll ask you if you would like a full refund of your dues payment.

$75 minimum

If you sign up for at least 1 Men’s Basketball game.

$25 minimum

If you sign up to play for at least one Men's Basketball game (and you're a recent Duke graduate from 2020, 2021, or 2022, or you're a band member whose age is 18 and younger)

No Dues Requirement for Current Duke Undergraduates or recent Duke graduates from 2023 or 2024

Playing only at Women’s Games?

No annual dues requirement.

Check-in

You must be ready to play in the band section 1-hour prior to game time.

What to wear

We recommend that all Duke Alumni Band members wear a Duke Band Rugby so that the band can look as uniform as possible! If you would like to purchase a Duke Band Rugby, you can do so at our online store.

Parking

Men’s Basketball games: parking will be free for Alumni Band members in a designated parking lot near Cameron Indoor Stadium (and a required parking pass will be provided to you before the game).

Women’s Basketball games: parking will be free for Alumni Band members in a designated parking lot near Cameron Indoor Stadium (no parking pass is required).

Guest Policy (non-instrument playing)

Depending on the game, a limited number of non-instrument playing standing-room-only guest seats may become available in the band section. If there is guest availability for a game, we will announce the availability about 1-2 weeks before the game.
